An email we received...

Fritsch:

My name is Audrea Boyle and I am writing to you to ask for your help. I am sure you receive dozens of emails asking the same but this may be a little different. Last Friday you may have heard on the news about a home in Price Hill that caught fire. That home was my mom’s neighbor. These people are mostly strangers to me aside from the neighborly hi and bye in passing, but I feel compelled to help them in any way that I can. Early Friday morning Marcus Guinn woke up to his house in a blaze. His 3 children were sleeping upstairs and he couldn’t get to them from the inside. Quickly he ran outside grabbed a ladder from his work truck and climbed onto the side roof, busted out the windows and with the assistance of his neighbor, Dennis Abner rescued his three children ages 3 almost 7 and 13 from their burning bedrooms. Mere seconds later flames were shooting from this same window. They are so grateful and lucky to be alive but now are left with the devastating reality of starting over from scratch! My mom, Ingrid Boyle has kindly stepped forward to help them in any way she can and I am committed to helping her do that.

What I am asking of you is this…I need someway to get the word out that this family needs help! I have set up an account called the Guinn Family Fund at 5/3 Bank. Anybody can donate any amount of money to any branch. They lost everything except the pajamas they were wearing. We are working really hard to get them the things they need but we need help. The middle boy lost his eyeglasses and Lens Crafters in Western Hills has gladly agreed to make him a new pair at no cost…my small office has donated as much as we can and my mom’s office has done the same, my aunt has gotten them coats. As you can see we are trying but it is no small task, I feel with your help and the help of the community we may be able to get the word out and really help this family.

Thanks for your time… and Merry Christmas to you all!

Audrea Boyle
