Findlay Market Holiday Sale

STOP AIDS (formerly AVOC) Partners with Findlay Market for Holiday Tree Sale! What: STOP AIDS (formerly AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati--AVOC), is partnering again with historic Findlay Market to host its annual Christmas Tree Sale! STOP AIDS is the Greater Cincinnati area's only AIDS Service Organization, and is entering its 25th year of service to the community. This fundraiser is a holiday favorite for shoppers who want to buy their family Christmas tree and support STOP AIDS and our clients at the same time! In addition to trees, shoppers will also be able to buy holiday wreaths, and ornaments and cards made by STOP AIDS clients. 100% of the proceeds raised by the sale will stay in Cincinnati to provide HIV prevention education and case management services to people living with HIV.

Findlay Market and it’s holiday shops will also be open for shoppers to purchase gifts, greenery, poinsettias, holiday decorations, and the city’s finest fresh foods! Where: The Elm Street Esplanade entrance of Findlay Market-- Shoppers can drive their vehicles up to the tree lot for easy loading of trees. A wide selection of trees will be available at all price ranges.

When: The STOP AIDS Tree sales will take place on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY beginning November 24th and ending on December 23rd! Trees will be sold on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, and on Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Who: STOP AIDS was founded in 1983 in response to the first AIDS- related death in the Cincinnati area. As the number of HIV-challenged individuals grew, so did our services; the agency quickly grew from a grassroots, volunteer organization into a professional AIDS Service Organization that today employs over 25 full-time staff, and serves around 1,000 clients per year.

The STOP AIDS offices at 220 Findlay Street in Over-the-Rhine are home to programs providing client services, prevention education, and HIV/AIDS testing. It is the Vision & Mission of STOP AIDS to be the leader in the fight against AIDS until there's a cure…changing lives one person at a time.
