Cerebral Palsy...

This is the first year Cincinnati has had a Reaching For the Stars chapter for Cerebral Palsy! This group is very active in creating awareness for this disability and wants you to participate in an effort to show support for people who live with Cerebral Palsy- whether it be someone you know, knew or see when you're out somewhere/ wondering who they are.

Our group is sponsoring a LOGO LICENSE PLATES campaign whereby friends and family can help show support and actually provide support all together! Simply sign up to commit to purchasing your next set of vehicle license plates from BMV with CEREBRAL PALSY at the bottom and it will cost you $25.00 extra for these logo plates(Most logo plates are $35.00 but we wanted families already strapped for cash to be able to afford this).Sign up by calling Pam Frank at (513) 385-6850 or e-mail her pam@frankbci.com. There will be an opportunity to sign up on Fountain Square on Oct. 30th 11:00-2:00. You will need your vehicle license number and your driver's license number for the sign-up. Deadline is tentatively set at Thanksgiving as we need to collect 1000 signatures to make this happen. Please tell your friends and family- it's a great way to make a family feel supported. Every time they see your vehicle they will feel a hug!

YAY!!! GO RFTS!!!!! wish I was still in Cincinnati for this, I would like everyone to know that 1 in 278 children have Cerebral Palsy, and research is VERY underfunded, every little bit helps, Cincinnati is a great community to live in and very supportive, glad to see Q102 is on board to help!
