Find out how to get involved in a fundraising walk through UC's beautiful Uptown Campus to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. UC’s Fraternity & Sorority community raised over $22,000 during our last campaign, and we have even bigger goals for this year’s campaign that we are hoping you can help us attain.
Event Details:Name of the Walk: Homecoming 5K to Grant Wishes TodayDate: Friday, October 12th, 2007 (Homecoming Weekend)
Time: Registration at 3:30 PM; Walk at 4:30 PM; Following the walk we will serve a FREE dinner to participants
Where: McMicken Commons (we will be walking around and through UC’s beautiful campus)Who is involved: UC students, UC faculty, staff, and administrators, UC alumni, and the communityOur Wish Kids: Brooke and Christian, who are siblings (see the attached brochure for their bios and pictures)
Sponsors: Fraternity and Sorority Life, Homecoming, Friday Night Live, Alumni Association, Student Alumni Council
A few other notes:
1. The walk will take place rain or shine.
2. Celebration and FREE dinner catered by Lazy Gourmet immediately following the walk.
3. Participate as an individual or form a team.
4. Fabulous PRIZES for the teams/individuals that raise the most money!
5. All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
