BID ON A CINCINNATI BRIDE“Models not included”

Winchester, Ohio – August 28, 2008 – Fifty one designer bridal gowns will be auctioned in Southwest Ohio on October 25th to help fight Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Models not included with gowns.

Models will wear the 51 wedding gowns up for auction along with other formal gowns. The gowns are by top designers such as Jasmine, Bonny and Moonlight Bridal. Doors open at 9am and the auction begins at 11am. at Hilltop Designs Bridal & Formal Charity Auction in Winchester, Ohio. Part of the proceeds will benefit the local programs and services of the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter and the Parkinson’s Wellness Organization.

Congresswoman Schmidt has promised to put an American flag that has flown over the Capitol up for auction. In addition, a Skip Werline print is also going to be up for auction. Many other surprises will be announced in the days before the event. There will be catered food, wedding related vendor booths, local celebrities, politicians and lots of fun.

Aside from the festivities, the cause is a serious one.

“My mom is suffering from Alzheimer’s and my husband has Parkison’s so I have to do what I can do to help make a difference against these awful diseases,” Said Jo Hall, owner of Hilltop Designs & Weddings and organizer of the event. “The more we communicate what we plan, the more area politicians and celebrities are calling with interest to join in some way, shape or form,”

The event will be held at the newest and largest reception hall in rural Southern Ohio between Cincinnati and Portsmouth with a 275-person capacity. This new facility has more than 4,200 square feet and conveniently located off SR-32.
All of the gowns will be on display one week before the auction at the place of the auction –Hilltop Designs at 9764 Tri-County Road in Winchester, OH 45697. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. It is a straight shot on Route 32 East out of Cincinnati about 30 minutes from Eastgate Mall.
