Join our Walk for Beechmont Stables & Rescue…Equi-Kids “Raise the Roof Project.” Equi-Kids provides many programs such as horseback riding for handicapped children, underprivileged children, volunteers and scouts. A new covered arena will allow children to ride all year and continue to learn and grow through rescued horses.
Let’s Get Started……
1. Sign Up! Fill out the pre-registration form and mail it or give it to Judy Quinlan at Beechmont Stables & Rescue, or a Katie Haumesser Foundation member. Your friends, family and neighbors are also invited to be a part of our walk. Please ask them to complete a registration form as well!
2. Raise Money! Tell your friends and family about the walk and ask them to sponsor you by making a contribution to the Katie Haumesser Foundation. Strive to raise $100 in pledges to help Katie’s Kids in reaching its goal of raising $15,000 for Beechmont Stables Equi-Kids Riding Program. Don’t delay….start collecting pledges today! Prizes will be awarded to the people with the 3 highest dollar amounts in pledges!
3. Walk! Have a great time at the 2.4 mile walk and enjoy a day filled with entertainment, fun and food for walkers of all ages. Pony rides also available. Walkers will receive a sweatshirt to wear with pride the day of the walk!
4. Feel Proud! After the walk, feel the pride and satisfaction that comes from knowing you were part of a community effort to raise money to help Equi-Kids program help children enjoy life a little more through horseback riding.
*Pre-registration: $20 per person Deadline is October 1st
*Registration the day of Walk: $25 per person
